A Tribute to my beloved garden city: Bangalore

I had to kill time, that too a full day, right in the middle of the city.

Luckily I had my camera in my backpack and the city here is Bangalore, the Garden City of India.

It was a calm and beautiful neighborhood and I kept walking.

Let me share some random images in no particular order.

    • Thanks a lot for your nice comments, Charlotte 🙂
If you had been to India and ready for it’s surprises, then Bangalore would really be a pleasant surprise with the cosmopolitan culture and it’s a perfect place to explore the whole of south India also.

    • 🙂 Oh you had been to Bangalore?

It’s changed beyond recognition from 1998 due to the IT boom.

There used to be a mango festival in Bangalore during the Mango season every year.

      • I can believe you that Bangalore has changed. Even where I live, Houston, has changed a lot, particularly since the end of the oil bust in 1987. The last 5 years have been dramatic with large increases in population and the price of everything.

Yea, we haven’t seen Bangalore really. We just lived there.

When we become tourists we see everything with a different eye, right 🙂

Now back in native, I am trying to be like a tourist, it pays off, I have seen a few places close to my home which I never visited, they are just incredible.

Come home, I’ll take you there 🙂

Yea, the city of Bangalore has so many beautiful and calm residential areas like this, it used to be called a “Pensioners Paradise”.
