Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflections

Ooty is a hill station in South India with beautiful gardens and tea plantations. We reached the Ooty boat house a bit late during our last tour but were treated with a great sunset.

The reflections of the boats and sky were really stunning but light was fading. Here I had to use long exposure and the image is not that sharp.

      1. well I meant to say the “word” that comes to mind – not the “odd” – but thankfully you knew what I meant. and I bet their “tea plantations” are nice too….

    1. Hello Shmruthi, thanks a lot for your comments 🙂

I usually use, Canon 450D, but this picture was taken a few years back with my Sony point and shoot, DSC W5…

      Have a good day…

  1. Love the sliver of pink hue in the sky. Never knew India had such lovely sunsets. The water looks so still too, not a ripple in sight. It’s as if time stopped for a split second. Great photo, and have a great weekend, Sreejith 🙂

    1. 🙂 Great to see that you liked this image.

I was trying to post something not so obvious w.r.t to the theme, but finally had to settle with this image.

Any ways feels good after seeing the response 🙂

  2. It does not need to be sharp, not in a take like this – the point is to avoid sharpness, to makes it dreamy like you did. Very evocative, Sreejith. I really like it!

  3. Absolutely love this picture. Question, I haven’t put together a Mirror Reflection for your country and love this photo. Would you be interested in being a guest blogger on my blog? I’d be honored to be able share your work with my readers. Let me know.
