One of the most scenic and easily accessible hill stations of south Kerala is Ponmudi.
Once we reached “On Top” it was such a refreshing feel to the body and soul that we just stood there for minutes on end just listening to the sounds of wind and the jungle.
And I’ve been there – loved the place 🙂

Yea, we had a great time hiking through those hills, and it was right after the monsoons, so every where it was lush green 🙂

Last couple of miles we had to wade through the mist, but once we reached the peak, all of a sudden mist got cleared and we could see the whole valley.
That was one pretty refreshing sight 🙂

This is one nice little hill station near Trivandrum.
There is so much to explore Kerala which are not in tourism limelight, especially north Kerala 🙂

You are doing something really great, and there is no better masters in this world than the nature itself 🙂
There is something special about hiking I always felt and enjoyed.
It’s a struggle within, between mind and body.
Until you reach the summit, a mountain/hill reminds you, how small you are, in this world and once you reach, you are humbled by it’s might.
Have a beautiful day, Noe 🙂

the blue in the sky is my favorite part of what you shared with us here. it is like a soft or muted teal – like a silver that thinks its a blue – or white that has moved over into just traces of the cool colors and then came back and shared it – and the colors stand proud like the individual is –
Okay – now that is getting cheesy = but I love your work and look forward to your posts – and this one was tasty my friend.
I also like the energy in the plants – they are not vertical – but angled – and this keeps drawing the eye down – and actually – it works with your name in the upper left – and just adds something to the mood of the mist and the majestic feel of the hills – the plants almost seem to point outward – as if to say to us, “Look at the beauty to behold”
well either way – ’twas beautiful to behold for moi!
