    1. Hello Takami,

Thank you so much for your observations on this image and I am so happy to see your comment 🙂

I had to be away from this beautiful forum for sometime, due to some personal commitments.

      I am back 🙂

  1. Good morning, Sreejith. I like the photo… a tree and a man. But I am not sure it says “lonely” though. 😉 The way the man’s arms positioned, it’s more like he was embracing the nature than he was lonely. Maybe I read too much. 😉 Thanks for the great photo. Helen

    1. It’s so nice to see different views on this image and that makes me smile and gives a feel that it was a good one.

The place was a hill top right in the middle of a jungle and there was hardly any one around for kilometers.

The ambiance was pristine and as you said being in the lap of mother nature was so soothing.

  2. Excellent photo, Sreejith. A naked tree, it’s branches are free of leaves. That man, all alone too. Probably thinking some deep thoughts about life. Love the grey sheen in the image, gives it a very glum feel. Great to see you’re back 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, Mabel and I am so happy to be back right here 🙂

I really missed all you wonderful people for almost two months.

I really appreciate your observations here on this image and let me tell you, it was a real scary trek.
Only two of us, during rain we trekked to the peak of one of the tallest peaks in our place and there was only elephants and leopards around 🙂
I hardly could take my camera out as it was misty once we reached on top.
One of my best experience in life too 🙂

      1. Very hard to tell that you and your friend had a scary trek. It looked like a very peaceful trek where you took your time, judging from the serene-looking photo.

Wow, animals all around you. I bet that was quite an experience for your senses, one you will remember for a long time. I definitely missed you and your photos, and I see you haven’t forgotten about smileys 🙂

    1. Hello Della,

I am so sorry that I missed your comment for this long.

I had to take an unexpected break in between as my father was having some health issues.

He’s pretty fine now and things are back on track 🙂

Hope you are doing great and waiting for more colors in my reader 🙂

      Have a beautiful day 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, Dalo 🙂

It was one trip I was least prepared to, and there by one of the toughest and scariest one in my life.

My cousin and I decided to do a trek through a rain forest during monsoon time. I could hardly take my camera out from the back pack during the trek and only after we reached the peak I just managed to get a few shots. There was mist all around and visibility was low.

We had an unforgettable experience though 🙂

      1. It is strange how some of the best experiences I’ve had were all created by ‘uncomfortable’ circumstances, be it poor weather, lost reservations, etc… Also made more memorable by being with good friends/family. Cheers!

        1. I could totally relate to what you said, Dalo 🙂

For me, this is the best part about travel, the ‘x’ factor…

During my travels, most of times I used to rely on local transport, which in India, always gives some surprises for sure 🙂

I think the best remembered things about our trips would be these unexpected events and they really makes us more adapted.

As time passes, only the things we leaned stays with us and the pleasant memories, all hardship and pain just vanishes.

An uneventful travel is at beat boring 🙂

    1. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, Linda 🙂

As my father was recovering in a hospital I was away from this connected world and thank god, he’s quite fine now and I am back.

I used to feel this forum as an extended family. So many wonderful people and loads of genuine goodwill.

The kind of appreciation and positive energy that I received from this forum is simply overwhelming, that too when I was going through a real tough time.

Feels like, things are all rosy again and let me resume my adventures.

Have a beautiful day ahead 🙂
