Hi there! How are you? Amazing how you managed to capture that beautiful image. If it was me, I would have fumbled a bit with the camera 🙂

Hello Kat 🙂
I am doing great. I couldn’t be in touch with you all for some time in between, due to some unexpected family commitment.
I am so happy to see that you liked this image.
As you said, it’s so difficult to take images of kids, they keep moving always, right?
Here, my daughter was so happy and observant when she met this little beauty, and I didn’t waste time clicking 🙂
Have a nice day ahead 🙂

I am so happy that you felt good seeing this image and we all wish we could go back to our younger days right?

Back to Innocence? Oh yes, Sreejith! Life has a way of pulling the stuffing out of you and dousing your smile. To feel like a kid again …. I stand behind my camera in awe and then play with the processing … I refuse to let go of my kid of Heart. Love, Amy

I was just lucky to get a steady shot, 9/10 times my daughter make sure that the image is blurred 🙂
I am so happy to see you liked this one, Amy 🙂

perfect for dreamy… oh wow –
and the colorful shirt just adds something – esp. because the butterfly is closed and not giving a show of color –
and the hair and eyelashes are in harmony with the butterfly parts – and then the shadow on the arm – well this is classic sreejith –

She was putting her best of efforts to make sure that the butterfly is not hurt. She stood still as long as the butterfly rested on her palm.
As you know, it’s so hard to to make little kids pose for a photo. So in a way, I was lucky to get this shot right 🙂

awe – how seer that she was being so sensitive – and maybe that is also felt with the way her mouth is slightly open – you can feel the pause of breath as she respects this little visitor. ❤

You are a very keen observer, Yvette 🙂
For me it’s so hard to take notice such minutes details, on seeing a subject, if I feel that an image could be decently composed, I’ll click, or ran for the camera to click 🙂

yeah, and that is why I think photographers need to just “do what they do” = because it comes from the heart and not always the mind. 🙂

This picture reminds me of a quote,
Like a butterfly, I am growing and changing and finding my true colors in life. I am finding my wings so I can fly and soon be on my way.
God bless you oh precious child in this photo! 🙂

Beautiful, Sreejith. Simply beautiful. So much curiousity in the child’s face – something so small and bland fascinates it. The simple things in life do make children happy. I’m glad you never forgot that 🙂 Hope you’ve been well.

I am really happy and relieved that a real tough time had just passed.
The climate here is at it’s best now and I am trying to explore this beautiful land and take photos.
You can expect to see more from Kerala soon 🙂
Have a great time… 🙂

So sorry to hear you went through a rough time of late. But good to hear things are picking up. Safe travels exploring Kerala. The slower you go, the more often you get to see the little things and stories around you. Take care, and enjoy 🙂

You said it, Mabel, I agree with you 100% “The slower you go…”.

You are absolutely right, there is nothing like watching a small kid play on her own.
The innocence in their words and deeds is what makes all the difference. As there are no pretensions, we could feel that peace and happiness when we even watch their images 🙂
