The unexpected December rains made everything looks so fresh and vibrant…
A morning stroll in the garden was so refreshing and given an opportunity to take some images for this week’s challenge.
The attempt to capture the wonders of nature was a realization that nothing is even remotely comparable to the wonderful camera created by nature itself, our eyes 🙂
Wonderful, looks like a splendid crystal garden! 🙂

Stunning images as usual, Sreejith. That first one is such a beauty – all the raindrops aligned with the leaf’s edges. You’d want to think that the plant grows crystals 🙂
From the ample raindrops,I’m guessing there was a heavy downpour in your backyard. I’m sure that was quite the show nature put on, and what a show after it stopped too. I don’t really know what else to say, these photos are really very beautiful 😀

Yea, there was an unexpected rain at night and it’s a bit rare in December…
I had discussed with my wife on this topic, the night before, and she was the one who gave me the idea 🙂
I am so glad, that these images made you feel good 🙂

Thank you, Sreejith. Let me tell you something. In my first year of university, I took a creative writing subject, mainly in poetry and fiction. I did so because I thought I was good at writing…
That turned out to be my second worst subject ever. I barely passed and the tutor was always trying her hardest to say nice things about my poems 🙂
Hope you are enjoying the holiday season and spending time with family. They might give you more ideas for stories soon. Take care 🙂

Oh wow – I agree with Stefy – feel like crystals in a way.
The 3 go week together – yet each have their own personality.
in that first photo – how did you get the water beads to line up on the edge like that ? ha! jk… well the refraction in the water droplets is amazing and the clicking on for close-up really helps to see the many little images in those drops!!
the second photo has a community feel (to me at least) with the two leaves coming out – as if to be serving something for two. and the shadow in those large droplets add interest.
then – in the third image – the twinkle of the water feels like electric light being lit – and with the deep seaweed green – that shot offers a rich tone (twinkle on a velvet background)….
nice take on the wpc 🙂

There are something magical in nature, which we can’t either duplicate or capture with man made gadgets…
The real twinkles I have seen that morning was something of that kind.
After many an attempts I just managed to capture a few decent shots… but frankly, I accepted defeat and kept my camera aside.
It’s pointless to capture everything and save for future, and better appreciate the wonders of nature with our senses.
May be I lacked quality gadgets or technical competency, but I reaffirmed one thing, we can’t match the creations of nature, by any means, a great lesson indeed 🙂
Feels so glad, these images created a twinkle in your eyes, Yvette 🙂

Nature will only let it’s own creations to view it’s magic completely, right?

While I’ll take your word for it that you could not capture all you saw with your own eyes, you could not have shared that with us as you did these riveting images captured with the camera lens. I wonder, too, if the photographer might perceive the natural world differently than those of us who might be strolling by in a more general appreciation without that focus that the photographer might have. I am no photographer, so I especially appreciate your ability.

I am really humbled by your response.
The kind of colors that emerged from the tiny droplets and the real twinkle in them was just beyond words and may be only a poet could express it perfectly.
A photographer is too handicapped by technology 🙂
I could capture these images with quite some effort and I am sure there is no match to the amazing camera nature has provided us, our very own eyes…
