It was a day, the more I tried to get close to my destination, the farther I spun away…
But, by end of the day, I was rewarded with a handful of images worth all the effort…
Please check out “Flavours of Fort Cochin:Part-1” to see what I planned for the day and where I ended up with 🙂
As I got down from the Junkar, it was 3 pm and I had a couple more hours to explore Biennale.
But, as I started walking to the exhibition halls, I got lost in the color around and started capturing the flavors of this beautiful place…
I walked through the streets and along the walk way near the beach… and finally reached my destination.
I was really overwhelmed with the variety and quality of the art and craft being showcased.
I had used up almost all my day wandering around… But no reason to get disappointed.
I got my reward for the exploits of a tiring day, a handful of images…
But I have decided to come back with my family to explore, Bienalle, hopefully “Only Biennale” 🙂
Lovely clicks, Sreejith. Loved the second to last pic in particular. 🙂

It so nice to hear that you had a great time in Cochin 🙂
Though I am from the same state, Kerala, it’s the first time I got a chance to explore this beautiful city.
In fact, I forgot, why I was there and started roaming around and capturing images…
I am really glad that, you liked these images and thank you so much for your time 🙂

Ha, ha ~ I love how you took your earlier post of the journey and played it out to perfection here. How I would love to visit Cochin as well of so many parts of Kerala…such life and art-of-living you have captured in your photos Sreejith. Beautiful.

Now a days I really enjoy watching people in action and capturing them in my images 🙂
This is truly an interesting place with so many people around, both locals and tourists.
The best part is, being a tourist place, no one bothers us while taking photos and that’s quite an advantage to shoot people 🙂
Thanks again for your continued support, Dalo 🙂
Have a beautiful day (Hope you are in Seattle), or a beautiful day ahead(if you are in HK) 🙂

I really started enjoying street photography and there is only one trouble, some time I just get lost in a place and have to alter my original plan 🙂

The last 4th pic – the buildings especially the roof very similar to our buildings too. I guess it’s the same legacy we share – British colonialism haha 🙂

That’s true, Kat, these buildings were constructed during the British times only 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out the images 🙂

Gorgeous photos. I am also interested in wall art, as I see you are. Interesting to see multiple images of Che Guevara. And that one of the three musicians playing together: we’ve seen that before! And I admit, if I was standing next to the monkey, I would be looking up into the air.

Kerala is so different from the rest of India.
The Left parties have got a strong presence here and in every alternate elections, they come to power here.
So, no wonder, Che Guevara’s images are seen here 🙂
Yes, I have shared the wall art before and this time too I used it with a slightly different composition 🙂
The sculpture of the monkey was there in one of the Biennale exhibition halls and I couldn’t get much information on the idea behind or the creator.
Thank you so much for your time, Crystal. It’s always great to see you stopping by 🙂
Have a beautiful day 🙂

You could see plenty of them everywhere in India, the movie posters 🙂
This poster is of a comedy movie in Malayalam, my mother tongue …
The bright colors were really attractive and I thought of making my post a bit colorful 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing your thought, Indah, have a beautiful day 🙂

This is one old communist party office, and no wonder we find so many images of this revolutionary 🙂
Kerala is quite a unique place in India, this small state on the south west of the country with a very high literacy rate and HDI.
It’s the place, where a communist government came to power in a democratic way for the first time in the world.
Still a very healthy balance is maintained between the left and right parties here and they come to power in alternate in terms.
The place is kind of deserted now, but I found the colors and images very interesting 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts 🙂

You are spot on, Madhu 🙂
I think ‘Che’ is more popular in Kerala than in his own native, Argentina…
Hope you have a fairly good idea about the political landscape of Kerala, where a nice little balance between the left and right keeps the state moves forward 🙂
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments and have a beautiful day ahead 🙂
