      it was indeed a special moment for me too…

      In the temples of Kerala, on some special occasions, people do sit and chant verses from the epics or other holy books… Just listening to them in that calm and serene ambiance is so relaxing and soothing.

      I was in this temple, just by chance and felt lucky to capture this grand old lady, without disturbing her, in this image…

      The backdrop to this images is the mighty Hindu god, Shiva with his abode in the great Himalaya mountains.

      It really was a special evening and I was lucky with the lighting 🙂

      We were there in this temple on the occasion of my cousin’s wedding.

      There I found this grand old lady, totally immersed in her prayers and totally disconnected with all the action going around.
