  1. Lovely street shot from you, Sreejith. I really like the colours in this one. So vibrant and it looks like everyone is on the move…except for one right in the middle of the shot. He looks absorbed in his phone, a world a way from where he is. Maybe he is absorbed in a game, or maybe he is absorbed in chatting in someone he really loves πŸ™‚

    • There is nothing more I need to add to your observations, Mabel πŸ™‚

I think this sight is so common all across the world, right? People are just interested in ‘sharing’ what they see but failing to feel what’s around them…

This famous monument called ‘Red Fort’ in our national capital witnessed quite some blood bath played during and after our independence struggle.

This is where, on this day (August 15th) our prime minister addresses the nation.

One more independence day here in India, and I really don’t know, whether all citizens of this country could celebrate freedom today…

Thanks again for sharing your thoughtful comments and hope you are having a beautiful day πŸ™‚

      • So true. So many of us are absorbed in our phones today. But, sharing is caring. This is just a new way of communicating and connecting. But there is nothing like a face to face conversations πŸ™‚

Happy Independence Day to India, Sreejith. May PM Modi guide the way πŸ™‚

        • We really hope so, Mabel πŸ™‚

India is doing good financially, but the gap between rich and poor is widening…

Countries like, Malaysia and Singapore which got independence during the same time as India, are far ahead of us…

Hope things are on right track πŸ™‚

    • Yes indeed, this great monument has witnessed some of the most dramatic events in human history.

It’s the the famous Red Fort of New Delhi.
The current generation doesn’t much care about the history of this great nation and the struggles the freedom fight against the colonial masters…

Most of us just want to be there, get a selfie taken and share it on social media πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts, Eliza πŸ™‚

Yes, I know there are so many incredible forts and monuments in Rajastan, but I am yet to get a chance to explore this incredible land…
