It was a beautiful evening with the rain playing hide and seek 🙂
It’s peak monsoon time here in Kerala, and we just went to explore this beautiful flat hill top near the sea.
I am so glad to see your comment, Divya 🙂

Beautiful shot, and such a thoughtful title to go with it. Stunning as usual and this image just radiates warmth all over. Dark out there in the distance, but warm on the inside – it’s a choice as to how we feel.

Feels good to start a day with such a nice, appreciative comment, my friend 🙂
This place is close to my home and known for the unique landscape, a flat hill top near the sea brimming with birds and plants…An ideal place to watch the sunset…
My daughter had a great time as it was drizzling and for me an ideal place to click , click and click 🙂
Have a beautiful day ahead 🙂

I was lucky with my timing, as there was just enough enough light to capture some images, but the golden hour light was simply magical with the clouds…

I will never know to use this umbrella for foreground. Then, the sunlight leads you eyes to the background. Brilliant!

To be frank, I was also surprised by the result 🙂
Light was fading by the time rain stopped and I could take my camera out.
My daughter started playing with her colorful umbrella and I had no option but shoot in the direction of light.
Luckily I got it right, but, I have to admit that, I couldn’t even capture a fraction of the beauty of that moment 🙂
It’s been quite a learning, Amy 🙂
Thank you so much for your observant comments 🙂

Sheer luck…:)
We went there late and I had no hope of getting a good image as it was overcast and raining.
Once we reached there, rain stopped and there remained only a drizzle, my daughter wasted no time and jumped off the car with her rainbow umbrella…
In a few moments, a door opened up in the heavens and a golden light started spreading:)
I had to shoot at the light and luckily it turned out to be good:)
Sadly, wordpress displays a very low resolution image on my page, whatever the size of my uploaded image be, I tried to find a solution, but still couldn’t figure out😦
Thank you so much for being a great supporter and an inspiration:)
Have a beautiful day ahead, Yvette:)

A clever way to hide the identity, but to make a presence, a beautiful one!

It was a magical evening and I was simply lucky to capture this image 🙂

Well, I was sort of kidding, but it is me I would use such a distraction to hide identity (face) of a person not very keen of having their photos posted. Whenever I see your photos of India I notice a palette that I have never seen in person before. And you use it so well.

Thank you so much, Paula for your kind words 🙂
This vast nation has an incredibly rich and colourful culture… it’s hard to portray it in monochrome 🙂
But, sadly life here is not that colourful for a huge chunk of population with a great divide between rich and people under extreme poverty…
But, I always prefer to portray the colourful, positive and bright sides of life with my friends, but sharing the realities in words…
Have a beautiful day ahead 🙂
