Weekly Photo Challenge

Weekly Photo Challenge: ‘Tiny’ Beads

During my recent travels through the villages of India, I was lucky to meet and interact with many an inspiring personalities, who works to improve the life of rural poor and empower women and marginalized communities.

Slowly but surely a network of these tiny beads are getting formed and the positive impact is being felt in areas of community based tourism, sustainable production and development etc;

Let me share an image here for this week’s photo challenge where one of our community coordinator who tirelessly works with the weavers community in and around Mysore, raises some serious points and initiates a debate…

    1. Hello Sue,

Thank you so much for your appreciative comment 🙂

I know it’s really strange to respond to a message from a friend after more than a year and apologies for that.

As I mentioned before, I am passing through a real challenging phase of my life and especially last two years, 2016 and ’17 were the toughest.

Many a times, I tried to make a comeback but that didn’t happen and finally here in 2018 I feel, relaxed and everything looks settled 🙂

Sorry to trouble you with all these stories, but, I have to respect your time and your relentless support.

I owe quite a lot to my friends here and so happy to be back 🙂

Have a beautiful day ahead 🙂

  1. That looks like such a delicate weave, but also so intricate and full of pattern. Maybe there wadca story behind the weave, and most art forms do 🙂

Love the way you captured it and the soft, warm hues. Gives me a soft and fuzzy feeling. Also looks rather dreamy…

…and I hope you had a great time on the road, and the travels were a dream come true, or at least they were enlightening. As you said, maybe you learned a more sustainable life. A more simple life and took something away from it 🙂

  2. A beautiful composition weaved along with the network of tiny beads 🙂 Srijith, you have captured the shot so well… the subdued creature with the highlighted creation. It is always good to hear the stories associated with your photos. Thanks for sharing 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Sarmistha for your thoughtful comments and I am sure you know the reason behind this much delayed response 🙂

I am going back and reading all the comments and posts that I missed over an year.

Tough task, but I wanted to make sure that I responded to all my friends 🙂

Hope you get to see this message and meet you in blogosphere sometime later 🙂
