Looking back, 2016 has been a roller coaster year for me, and I was simply lucky to travel through many an interesting paths which were not frequented by many.

Let me share a few images from my travels in 2016, and wish you all a Very Happy and Peaceful New Year…

  14. 2016 seemed to have been challenging for a lo of us. It was certainly challenging for me to on so many levels, from work to health to personal issues 😦

    But hey, hey, it is 2017 already 🙂 All challenging paths usually have a lesson or lessons to be learnt, and with these lessons we can move ahead stronger and more self-assured. Hope you get to wander more in the coming year, Sreejith. You deserve a break, or at the very least some kind of treat. Take care my friend, and most importantly stay safe 🙂

    1. Due to my break and checking out the messages I missed an year back, gives me a unique opportunity to analyze how things went during last year and how did I cope with them …

      Interestingly I had a really challenging year as you know, I took some bold decisions, worked hard even during those tough days, took break from even something that I like most, blogging and photography and you can see the result…

      I am stronger, fresher and again started doing things that gives me satisfaction and happiness 🙂

      So happy to be in touch with all the wonderful people here and a privilege to have friends like you 🙂

  15. This is a great series of photos Sreejith, and I think 2016 proved to be a challenging year for many people I know ~ but the good news is the road we travel is driven by our positivity so the path in 2017 will be one with many opportunities. Wishing you and your family the best.

  20. Hey… I was thinking of you all morning – and was on my way over – then you dropped by!
    and is it too late to say Happy New Year? well it is still January (barely)
    and so happy new year Sreejith… xxoo

    and the paths in this post were perfect for a 2016 post.
    you sure do get to visit some gorgeous places – and the best part for us is that we can vicariously enjoy them thru your work.

    and that is actually what i was thinking about today – when I wrote that poem for your photo years ago.

    maybe we could do it again this year sometime…. ?

      Your poem and the posters you created were such an inspiration to me that, I really changed the way I approached photography.

      1. well I was just thinking about that this wek, S! seriously – how I should maybe write with your pics again – and then I saw this comment – so dude – the challenge is ON!

        and seriously – I love your work and could write easily to almost any photo.

        Earlier this year i was writing a little to some “flower power” pics with this blogger names Rebel Guy….
        he and his wife (rebel Girl) are growing in their photo skills and you should check them out.
        Anyhow, that was the only other time I really felt the urge to add words to pics…

          on “S”
          maybe we could partner with a photo and some words?

        4. well take your time – the Letter S is on April 21st
          and so we can use one photo – or two or three.
          let’s see what you come up with and maybe we could collaborate before the post and tag team it.

          and if you cannot get a shot you love -= we could do plan B and dig in your archives for some….

      For me, It was quite a challenging time both personally and professionally.

      I had to take a rather long break from blogging.

      Feels great to be back and I am truly having a great time now 🙂

      Lot of official travels and interactions with local communities…

      I am really sorry for this much delayed response …

      The last image was really special and even I felt something interesting about it, most of the cars moving towards the setting sun and the unexpected showers created a really dramatic setting.
