Beauty All Around Us: My Experiments with Videos

Lock down days have been quite monotonous and the best way to escape from boredom was spending time with my camera in our garden.

I was always interested in photography but stayed away from videos as it really tests your patience while shooting as well as editing.

But, the result is very interesting and satisfying.

I am just starting with videos and hope I will be able to share some quality content in future.

Please bear with me for the time being 🙂

Thank you for your visit and watching the video 🙂

    1. To be frank, I didn’t do it intentionally 🙂

As I am just a beginner with video editing, I let these background sound stay.
But, as you said, when there is so much of negativity all around, kids and their positive vibe is a great solace …

Thanks again for your support, Brenda 🙂

    1. I feel, beauty is always there all around, but, it’s us who fail to appreciate it during the mad rush.

Covid did help some of us to slow down the pace of life and find solace in getting closer to nature.

I am just trying to capture and share the rich flora and fauna close to my house in this beautiful land, Kerala.

Thank you so much, Sylvia for your visit and kind words 🙂

I owe quite a lot to this great forum and all the wonderful people here.

Through the words of encouragements, you are forced to work on your skills and come up with better work every time.

This is indeed an experiment but I will definitely work on it and share the beauty of the natural world around me through my photos and videos …

      Have a great day 🙂

Video is entirely a different domain and requires much more skills and patience to produce meaningful work.

I just started with my experiments and hope to come up with some good work in future 🙂

  1. Excellent work, Sreejith! This is a perfect medium to create, and what you’ve done with something as tantalizing as these magnificent creatures, dragonflies are awesome. Wishing you well during these tough times and keep safe ~

    1. So good to see your comments, Dalo 🙂

I found that spending time in our garden is the best way to relax and de-stress from the uncertainties of these Covid days.
We are lucky to have a very healthy eco system around and there are so many butterflies and insects to photograph.

Trying to capture videos is a new attempt but learnt in a hard way that hand held shots are mostly useless.

Anyway, the whole family is involved in all these experiments and I am happy that my kids are loving it.

Thank you so much for your visit and time here and I really value it 🙂

      1. I’ve found that having a great ecosystem around during these Covid days is so valuable. It makes it easier to relax by getting out into nature ~ and your garden I would imagine is a perfect place to spend time, especially with family. You are a lucky man 🙂 So good to see your work again, and wishing you and your family the best. Stay healthy and take care, friend!

I am pretty new to videos and editing. But, as you said the end products are interesting.

It’s the best antidote to boredom and depression during these days 🙂

  2. Beautiful. I generally like to take still pictures. I went out to walk in the garden last year and there was music playing from nearby and it seemed as though a garden spider was dancing to it. He’s *amazing* in his coordination! I managed to video it and will try to put in in my blog soon.
