This image was captured at a very interesting place named Kuttampuzha, a remote village in the Western Ghat mountain region. The couple in the picture belong to the indigenous community and stay across the river.
The only mode of transportation is country boats and even that is not available during the months of Monsoon rains. No electricity, no telephone or mobile network. Totally disconnected from the mainstream world for months on end.
But, whenever I had a chance to interact with I felt that, they were more happy, peaceful and content in their life…
May be, we all need to get disconnected from all these comforts once in a while 🙂
