About

I am privileged to have been born and brought up in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Kerala.

Blue skies, Monsoon rains, Virgin beaches, Green carpeted hills, countless Streams and Backwaters… all these been taken for granted.

Two decades gone in a flash and I had to move on… move away…

Completing my studies I moved to Bangalore and started my career in IT industry and the 9 to 5 life.

Five days in office was no excuse for two days of rest, and I started exploring places around.

Here, I would like to share my thoughts, share my travel photos and stories, and introduce you all to my beloved native “Kerala”.

Welcome to my blog and Thanks for your time.

Fast Forward 3 years (August 2016)

How long you could resist it…

The pull of your home place.

Yea, finally, after working in Bangalore for 10 years, I managed to say bye bye to my IT career.

Once I came back home, I wanted to do something meaningful, something which gives me happiness…

My search led me to a wonderful team which worked under an umbrella organization called ‘Kabani-The other direction’ a non-profit NGO which works with the local communities to develop and market community tourism programmes.

Now I am part of this team and having a great time exploring one of the most beautiful places on earth and interacting with real people…

Thank you so much for all the wonderful people in this forum who stood with me and keep supporting me during all these years…

  1. Hi Sreejith, my name is Divya Sreedharan and I am a Bangalore-based journalist. While exploring a story on Indians and our shared love of Soviet-era literature, I came across an old blog post of yours about reading Misha as a child. I’d love to learn more! Please let me know how we can take this forward. Many thanks, Divya
