  3. This is such an interesting photo, Sreejith. My eyes are drawn to the guy sitting down in the middle with the blue shirt, looking down. I wonder what he is thinking. He seems lost in his thoughts. It must have been a hot day there because his shirt is unbuttoned 🙂 Beautiful capture and love how you framed it.

      Yes, there is no doubt on the ‘heat factor’ it’s always hot and humid in this part of Kerala, Kochi, and men are used to unbutton one or two top ones when it’s unbearable.

      This building is an old ‘Communist Party’ office and it’s a common sight in Kerala, where people goes there and read newspapers or discuss politics.

      But, what attracted me most is the, ‘fast paced life around’ and how the politics of the world changes… while ‘someone’ or ‘something’ being the witnesses of these changes…

        1. I am from the southern most part of India, and my state ‘Kerala’ is quite different from other parts of the country.

          Here, we have a long history of strong ‘Left’, presence. Not the revolutionary kind, but democratic.

          So we could see images of ‘Che’ almost every where.

          If you google ‘Kerala, you will get some really interesting information, Marc 🙂

      This part of Kerala has a long colonial history and now a major tourist place (Fort Kochi).

      This building is an old ‘Party office (communist) ‘ but now another historical landmark 🙂

    1. The old building, the old man and the image of ‘Che Guevara’ created mixed emotions in me and many a questions popped up in my mind.

      With a strong democratic left presence in my home state(Kerala), Images of ‘Che Guevara’ is seen everywhere, but the party and it’s philosophies are facing many a challenges in this globalized world.

      I just thought, all the main subjects in this image are witnessing a fast changing world …
