Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Harvest Season

I didn’t think twice before stopping my car and start shooting, when I saw this,

Something so hard to see now a days with all the machinery around.

I was on my way to Lepakshi from Bangalore for a day tour and even though I shot a few hundred, this happened to be most satisfying one to me.

This is the first one that came to my mind seeing Cee’s photo challenge for this week.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Extra Extra Passenger

During my last visit to “Nandi hills” near Bangalore, I found this scene very interesting. A curious monkey was planning to board a bus with other passengers.
He almost did it, but once the driver started the engine, he ran away 🙂

This is the first image that came to my mind when I saw this week’s theme Extra.

 

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Sepia Tones

Lepakshi is a temple town just inside the boarder of the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh which is around 3 hours drive from Bangalore.

The images below are the most recognizable ones from the great temple complex of Lepakshi posted here for “Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Sepia Tones”.

A Tribute to my beloved garden city: Bangalore

I had to kill time, that too a full day, right in the middle of the city.

Luckily I had my camera in my backpack and the city here is Bangalore, the Garden City of India.

It was a calm and beautiful neighborhood and I kept walking.
