  1. It could be titled ‘the light at the end of the tunnel’. Offering hope to those who can move through the shadows. Fantastic shot and very thought provoking.

  2. Your photographs are simply exquisite Sreejith. They speak volumes and are filled with such incredibly layered meaning and emotion. You have a very good eye in capturing those moments that are fleeting, yet infused with the beauty of life.

    1. Thank you so much, Jolandi 🙂 You have made my day…

This forum has really helped me to view photography more seriously and learn from the works of other really gifted people.

Comments like these are really inspiring and makes me more responsible to come up with better images and stories.

      Have a great day 🙂

  3. Such a stunning photo. It seems to say that every path can be long and dark but if you work hard enough you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel. I think a lot of us can relate tot this 🙂

  4. Beautiful warm light makes it so inviting.. I love photos with arcades and passages in them especially if they are impeccably taken like this one 🙂 Well done, Sreejith!

      1. Your gift speaks for itself! I really love YOUR perspective. I’ve come to know that a part of the photographer comes with the photo. I “sense” it, “see it”, “feel” it. (smile) Love, Amy

        1. Sreejith, if you knew how weary I do become because at times my work never seems to end. This world is still so dark, and my little candle doesn’t seem to do much some days. So when I hear words like these, you bless me more then you know. Thank you! With Love, Amy

        2. You got me curious. I forgot the name of the bright yellow and orange flower so I just went outside to get the tag. Unfortunately for me, due to the frozen ground it snapped off, but I did manage to the get the name of the flower. It is Gaillardia. Over the years, I have had so many plants and flowers then I tend to forget what they are. I just know they are pretty. (smile) There you go! Now you know!

  5. This is such cool tunnel view – and while I enjoy the way you captured the light and shadows – my favorite part is the orange hue – you almost wonder if that is all coming in from the sunset (like the other picture you took is emitting some rays this way) –
and the white (trellis gate) at the every end added interest because it was not what I was expecting at the end of a long stone walkway like that – GREAT for the word inside. 🙂 ~y.

    1. Thank you so much for your comments, Yvette 🙂

Yea, as you guessed it was almost sunset and this fort is on beach front.

Even though there is a light at the end of the tunnel, there is no way out, but the opening was just behind me and it was almost dark, just see the contradictions 🙂

      2. well that is so kind of you to say! 🙂 ha! and while I do have a few books in me, I do not really write fiction….and right now I have no time for anything extra (if you know what I mean) – but maybe I could always while out a short story with that theme sometime….. just maybe. and maybe you could too. 😉

      1. I enjoy learning the history from a relic of history. It’s more impressive, and also become a beautiful object to photograph. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much,Scott 🙂

I was lucky to get the timing right, it’s an army barrack inside an old fort on beach front. A few minutes after I took the shot, it was pretty dark inside 🙂
