Ooty is a hill station in South India with beautiful gardens and tea plantations. We reached the Ooty boat house a bit late during our last tour but were treated with a great sunset.
The reflections of the boats and sky were really stunning but light was fading. Here I had to use long exposure and the image is not that sharp.
Very beautiful photograph! great shot and great composition. Best regards.

the odd that comes to mind with this photo is “soothing” – nice capture. 🙂

Yea, with the long exposure and the movement of water gives it that effect…

well I meant to say the “word” that comes to mind – not the “odd” – but thankfully you knew what I meant. and I bet their “tea plantations” are nice too….

Love the sliver of pink hue in the sky. Never knew India had such lovely sunsets. The water looks so still too, not a ripple in sight. It’s as if time stopped for a split second. Great photo, and have a great weekend, Sreejith 🙂

It does not need to be sharp, not in a take like this – the point is to avoid sharpness, to makes it dreamy like you did. Very evocative, Sreejith. I really like it!
