Weekly Photo Challenge: Today Was a Good Day, at Mothakkara Village

It’s really hard to believe that I was away for five long months from this wonderful community.

And, finally the silence is broken and here I am, among you all great people…

I couldn’t stand any longer from sharing images and experiences from my beautiful Kerala.

A guided ‘day walk’ in one of the most scenic villages at the foothills of ‘Banasura Hills’ is the immediate trigger.

Please have a look at this image from, Mothakkara village as part of the ‘Weekly Photo Challenge‘.

  1. This is such a lovely shot of a village in Kerala. Clouds behind the rolling mountains look spectacular, and the villagers look like they are hard at work. Welcome back, Sreejith. Missed seeing your photos from India. Hope all has been well with you (hope the studies were going well) and looking forward to more beautiful photos and meaningful tales of India to come 🙂

    • I just feel at home now, Mabel 🙂

The exams were really good indeed, thanks a lot for your well wishes 🙂

The best thing that happened to me during this break was, I managed to make a really interesting career switch from, IT to ‘Sustainable Tourism’.

Now I am working with a reputed company in this domain and some wonderful people.

I could certainly assure you of many more interesting tales and images from this beautiful land 🙂

Hope you are doing great, Mabel 🙂

Have a beautiful day ahead …

    • Dear Ken, Thank you so much for your message, it really means a lot to me 🙂

Yea, the rather long hiatus was totally unplanned.

I was preparing for a competitive exam and found it really hard to share some quality time for blogging during studies.

But quite interestingly, as soon as the exams were over, I got a great opportunity to try my hand in a totally different domain, ‘sustainable tourism’.

Now after almost two months into the new job, which is really exciting, I feel settled.

I am so happy to be back and feel at home, among you all, in this wonderful community 🙂

      Have a beautiful day 🙂

I think in your place, the mountains are of different scale, right?

Hope, things have come back to normalcy after the earthquakes…

I need to really do quite a lot of catching up in your blog for updates 🙂

      Have a beautiful day 🙂

It was really hard to be away from here for this long.

But, the good part is, I managed to make a career switch to a very interesting domain, ‘Responsible Tourism’.

I will surely be sharing many more interesting images and stories from my native 🙂

      • Sometimes Life takes priority, Sreejith. I know myself how challenging it is to be on WP when my Life is just so full and busy. I am happy for you that you have been able to get into a career that you really want. Good for you!!! I look forward in hearing more about this. I am doing great, a wee weary around the edges due to having a very hectic summer, but other then that, really good. I am so happy to see you back on WP!!! ❤

    • Yes, Dear Dalo, I am back 🙂

It was quite an unplanned break and unexpectedly long.

Though I really missed this wonderful community for all these months, I feel so lucky to make a long cherished career switch.

Now I am working in the field of ‘Sustainable tourism’ in some really beautiful and unexplored areas of the country.

Hope, this really will help me to come up with interesting tales and images 🙂

Have a beautiful day, Dalo 🙂

    • Wayanad truly reminds us about these lines…

It’s blessed with natural beauty, but the flow of tourists and construction activities all around has started showing it’s negative impacts …

So nice to see that you liked this image 🙂
